When your body is in severe pain, it is signaling you to take a day off. I am not talking about just some sore muscles. When you are limping and you have visible swelling it’s time for a break. Allow your body to repair itself with some rest. Your fitness progress will go forward rather than backwards from an injury. Listen to what your body is telling you. Stress tends to make us want to grab for those sugary snacks. The food we eat has a big impact on our mood. Try eating some protein and vegetables and see what happens. You will feel better by fueling your brain with the proper sources of good food. Stay away from the processed foods and try to cook more meals at home.
