If you don’t want your belly to look like a pumpkin for Halloween, beware of the Halloween candy in your house. Do not purchase your favorite candy. Eat dinner before you hand out the candy. If you are full, you are less likely to snack on candy. Have some healthy treats out for yourself. Snack on some crunchy vegetables instead of those sugary treats. Most of all, be mindful of what you are eating this Halloween. If you do have some candy, limit yourself to just a few pieces. Moderation is key! http://fitwatchr.com
Are you paying attention to the portions that you are eating? It’s easy to go over the recommended caloric intake without monitoring your food intake. Make sure to keep track of the amount of food you are eating and count calories. The number one proven way to lose weight is to log what you are consuming.
Do you feel like you are stuck in a diet & exercise rut? Are you doing all the right things but those pants still fit too tight? Here is a tip, do something different. Do you cringe when you hear the word exercise? Is your favorite place on the couch? Don’t give up on your weight loss goals just because you are not an athlete. You do not have to buy spandex and work out at a gym to get healthy. It’s as simple as putting one foot in front of the other. Just walk! It’s free, you can wear comfortable clothing, and it does not require an olympic skill set. If you have a dog, they make great walking companions. Try to walk at least 30 minutes five days per week. Walking will wither the weight away! @fitwatchr wants you happy & healthy!
Why do you want to achieve a specific goal? This is a very important step in goal setting. What is your desired purpose to do something. Make sure this goal is for you. Ask yourself why are you doing this. If your goal is to lose weight, why are you losing weight? Your purpose answer should be for Yourself. Reaching a goal can be difficult at times. Don’t look at your goal like it’s a huge mountain, take little steps to get to the top. @fitwatchr wants you to reach your highest goal.
Procrastination is not your friend. Being proactive about your health has to start now! Let today be your start day. Today is the day I will walk twenty minutes.
